About the Instructor

From the vibrant streets of Rio de Janeiro 🇧🇷 to Downtown LA, our Professor brings a lifetime of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu mastery to High Level Jiu-jitsu. Starting at 15 in a nonprofit in the favelas, he quickly discovered the discipline Jiu-Jitsu demands. Training under the Guidence, of Elan Santiago and Rodrigo Akillis and Legends like Fernando Terere and Cobrinha from who he proudly received his black belt.

At High Level Jiu Jitsu, we focus on nurturing a community of teenagers and young adults (20-40 years old) who are eager to grow through the challenges and fun that Jiu-Jitsu offers. Our programs are designed to foster personal and collective growth, with a particular emphasis on practical lessons that extend beyond the mat.
